Chelou is a British singer-songwriter and producer whose parents were part of London's Camden punk scene. He emerged in 2014 with his debut EP 'The Quiet,' drawing on influences including PJ Harvey, Bon Iver and Lana Del Rey to craft an ethereal, guitar-driven sound paired with expressive, heartfelt lyrics.
His early work earned support from BBC tastemakers including Tom Ravenscroft, Guy Garvey and Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music, and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, helping build a dedicated following for his atmospheric brand of alternative music.
