Evan Uhlmann, born in Chicago, Illinois, is a singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and folk-rock sound. From a young age, Uhlmann was captivated by music, particularly The Beatles. He learned every melody and lyric from their albums, with 'Here Comes The Sun' being a standout memory from his childhood. Rubber Soul remains his favorite Beatles album, with 'I’m Looking Through You' as his all-time favorite track.
Uhlmann attended Bard College, where he studied music. Despite being enrolled in a jazz program, his passion for folk and rock songwriting was supported by his professors. This academic environment allowed him to develop his songwriting skills while performing with his college band, Meek and the Marksmen.
