Jalen Santoy Gathers, known as Jalen Santoy, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter born on August 24, 1993. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, he grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and began making music at the age of 15.

Career

Santoy's first song, 'God,' featured Philly native Gliss and caught the attention of many bloggers and rappers, including Rapper Big Pooh, who later collaborated with Santoy on the 'God' remix and the song 'Kings' from the EP 'Words Paint Pictures'. This recognition led to Santoy being named as one of the top artists to watch by The Source, 2dopeboyz, and Okayplayer.
