However, the unwavering support of her parents, Moncha Brewer and Kenny Brewer, encouraged her to embrace this unique gift. The pivotal moment came during her senior year at Ridgeway High School when she interned at radio and television stations. It was here that Janerika discovered her passion for speaking and writing, setting the stage for her future endeavors.

Believing in her potential, Janerika embarked on a journey that required self-confidence, networking, and unwavering consistency. Despite facing rejection from Clark Atlanta University, she persisted, eventually gaining acceptance and now maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA.

Beyond academic achievements, Janerika has carved a niche for herself as a sports reporter. She established her own brand, covering events for notable teams like the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Falcons. Credentialed by the NBA for LA Playmakers, Janerika garnered valuable exposure, positioning herself for even greater opportunities in the sports field.

Her narrative extends beyond sports, as Janerika seamlessly entered the entertainment world. Connections with actresses such as Megan Good and a trip to Hollywood, where she met Taraji P Henson, underscore her multifaceted journey.

At the age of 18, Janerika stands out as a black female breaking barriers in a male-dominated field. Her upcoming ventures include covering the NBA Draft in New York City and participating in the Miss Tennessee pageant.
