Lucy Landymore's passion for percussion began at the tender age of two, inspired by watching her father's big band, '78RPM'. This early exposure ignited a lifelong fascination with rhythm and drums. By the age of nine, she was actively rehearsing with Linton Jazz, honing her skills in a big band setting. Her dedication and talent culminated in winning the percussion category of the 2010 BBC Young Musician of the Year at seventeen, where she delivered a standout performance of Frank Zappa’s 'The Black Page'. Following this achievement, Lucy pursued classical percussion studies at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Dave Hockings and Ralph Salmins, laying a solid foundation for her burgeoning career.

Lucy Landymore's career is marked by a series of high-profile collaborations and solo performances that showcase her versatility and skill. As the drummer for the World of Hans Zimmer, she has performed to sold-out arenas across Europe, bringing cinematic scores to life with her dynamic drumming.
