After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend Belmont University, Carpenter focused on honing her songwriting skills and networking within the music community. Her career took a significant turn when she co-wrote the song 'Villain' with her friend Lily Rose, which went viral and opened up new opportunities for her.

In 2021, Carpenter signed her first record deal with The Valory Music Co., a division of Big Machine Label Group. Her self-titled debut EP features songs like 'Can't Nobody,' 'Huntin' Season,' and 'Jesus I'm Jealous,' showcasing her cheeky yet nuanced songwriting ability.

Carpenter's music has been recognized by SiriusXM's The Highway, and she was included in the CMT Next Women of Country class of 2023. She has opened for notable country artists such as Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen, Parker McCollum, Craig Campbell, and Ryan Hurd, and has performed at major events like CMA Fest, Country Thunder, Tortuga Music Festival, and Stagecoach.
