In 2010, Miami native Robby Hunter began his musical journey as a street performer, captivating passersby with his loop-based setup that blended old-school hip-hop covers and original compositions. His impromptu performances quickly drew large crowds, leading local authorities to advise him to transition to formal venues. Embracing this shift, Hunter enlisted multi-instrumentalists Pat Howard and John Coughlin, both University of Miami music students, to form a trio. Initially performing under the name Robby Hunter Band, they honed their sound in local bars, laying the foundation for their future success.
