Nell Mescal was born on April 28, 2003, in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. Growing up in a musically inclined family, she was exposed to a variety of genres from a young age. Her parents' love for artists like Mary Chapin Carpenter and Fleetwood Mac influenced her musical tastes. Nell began singing early in life and started writing her own songs at the age of 13.
