David Esekhile, known professionally as PAWSA, was born on March 31, 1992, in London, England. Growing up in the vibrant city, he was exposed to a diverse range of musical genres, which sparked his interest in electronic music from a young age. His early fascination with rhythm and beats led him to explore DJing and music production during his teenage years.

PAWSA's professional journey began in 2013 when he met fellow DJ Michael Bibi at a warehouse party. Sharing a mutual passion for tech-house music, the duo co-founded Solid Grooves Records in 2015. The label quickly gained recognition for its high-energy releases and events, becoming a staple in the tech-house community.

In 2014, PAWSA released his debut EP 'Pilot' on Lost Records, which received acclaim for its inventive sound. He continued to build his discography with releases on notable labels such as Relief Records and Mood Records. His track 'Dirty Cash (Money Talks)' released in 2024, peaked at number 4 on the UK Dance chart, solidifying his status as a leading figure in the genre.
