Petite League

Lorenzo Gillis Cook, the driving force behind Petite League, grew up in Brussels, Belgium, as an American expatriate. His early exposure to diverse cultures and music scenes influenced his eclectic musical style. Upon moving to Syracuse, New York, for college, Cook immersed himself in the local DIY music scene, which was characterized by its raw energy and lo-fi aesthetics.

In late 2014, Cook recorded the first Petite League demo, 'Surviving October,' and collaborated with drummer Henry Schoonmaker to bring the project to life. The duo's shared passion for music and the vibrant Syracuse house show scene provided the perfect environment for their creative endeavors.

Petite League's debut album, 'Slugger,' was released in 2015, showcasing their unique blend of bedroom pop and garage rock.
