Will August Park hails from Ventura, California, where he developed a passion for music at an early age. Initially drawn to the piano, he immersed himself in various genres, from classical to jazz, shaping his unique musical perspective. This diverse foundation laid the groundwork for his future explorations in electronic and experimental music.

After honing his skills in local music scenes, Park relocated to New York City to further his career. The vibrant and eclectic environment of the city provided him with new inspirations and opportunities, leading to collaborations with other artists and the development of his distinctive sound.

In 2023, Park collaborated with electronic artist J. Albert on the album 'Flat Earth', released by 29 Speedway in New York. This project blended Park's impressionistic piano with J. Albert's dub-like electronic sounds, creating a textured symphony of light grooves and instrumental individuality. The album was well-received, marking a significant milestone in Park's career.

The success of 'Flat Earth' opened doors for Park, leading to further collaborations and performances in the electronic music scene. His ability to seamlessly merge acoustic and electronic elements garnered attention from both critics and audiences alike.

In December 2024, Park released his solo debut album 'Doff' through UNO NYC. The album showcases a sound world intersecting late 90s electronica's flirtation with drum & bass, the modal jazz of Bill Evans, and the experimental hypnotics of artists like Laurel Halo. 'Doff' reflects Park's introspective journey and his exploration of self-identity through music.

The lead single and title track, 'Doff', delves into themes of self-perception and personal growth. Park describes it as an exploration of finding a through line in one's sense of self over different periods of life, questioning the possibility of change and the perception of oneself by the world. The accompanying video, directed by Alec Moeller, visually encapsulates these themes, adding depth to the musical narrative.
