Born in London to Brazilian parents, Alexia Glensy was immersed in a rich tapestry of musical traditions from an early age. Her upbringing in São Paulo exposed her to the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian music, while her time in London introduced her to the diverse sounds of the European electronic scene. This fusion of cultures laid the foundation for her distinctive style.

Alexia's passion for music led her to pursue formal education in the field. She studied mixing at DJ Ban in São Paulo and later earned a diploma in Music Production from the London Academy of Music Production. These experiences honed her technical skills and deepened her understanding of music production, setting the stage for her future career.

Alexia Glensy's career began in the underground clubs of São Paulo, where her dynamic sets quickly garnered attention. Seeking to expand her horizons, she relocated to London, immersing herself in the city's vibrant electronic music scene. Her performances at venues like Basing House and Egg London showcased her ability to blend minimal and UK Garage genres seamlessly.

In 2020, Alexia moved to Amsterdam, a pivotal moment in her career. She became affiliated with the renowned VBX and Shelter crews, further solidifying her presence in the European electronic music community. That same year, she co-founded LeMaia, a vinyl-only record label and fashion brand, with fellow Brazilian fashion art director Sofia Tabet. LeMaia's first EP featured artists like Ben Balance and Julian Anthony, receiving acclaim for its innovative sound and artistic vision.

Alexia's performances have taken her to esteemed venues and festivals worldwide, including Fabric London, Wildeburg Festival, Hoppetosse, Opium Club, DC-10, and the globally renowned Awakenings Festival. Her residency at Shelter in Amsterdam has been particularly noteworthy, allowing her to cultivate a dedicated following and contribute significantly to the local music scene.
