As for his musical preferences, he mentioned artists like Julie Holter, the Fred Hirsch Trio, Guided By Voices, and Ghostface Killah as current inspirations.

Looking ahead, Mitchell's plans included the release of "Soroky" and UK shows, touring with Idlewild, recording with The Hazey Janes, and writing with Art Of The Memory Palace. He expressed the desire to create another solo record in the following year, showcasing his continuous dedication to his craft.
