BUNT. became known for their vibrant sonic spectrum and the use of various instruments, which they liken to different colors blending together. Their music is melody-driven, with a belief that melodies transcend language barriers and are universal in their appeal.

In May 2021, Nico Crispin left the group, leaving Levi Wijk to continue BUNT. as a solo act. Levi Wijk, the face behind BUNT., grew up in a musically inclined family; his father, a Turkish immigrant to Germany, met his mother while working as a DJ.
