Genre-Blending Sound Rooted in Yorkshire
Franky Wah, born Luke Storrs, built his sound around piano and synthesizer, folding trance and breakbeat influences into a house foundation that has made his sets and productions difficult to pin to a single genre.
He has spoken about his creative process and lockdown-era productions in outlets including DJ Times, and has released music through his own SHÈN Recordings imprint as well as Ministry of Sound and Anjunadeep.
