Gerloczy Zsigmond is a Hungarian pianist and composer based in Budapest, from a family of artists, celebrated for entirely improvised solo concerts that move fluidly between classical, jazz, world music, and pop. A regular performer at Budapest's BMC/Opus Jazz Club and Mupa, he released his debut solo album, I Only Fell to Fly, in 2022 through his own label, Kriegler Records, followed by 2024's Future Sounds, recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning collaborators including producer Taylor Graves. His playing has drawn admiration from musicians including Keith Jarrett, Jacob Collier, and Tigran Hamasyan.

Career
Born into an artistic family, Gerloczy began improvising freely on piano from age eight and has given entirely improvised solo concerts since age nine. His 2025 collaborative program Move, performed with French guitarist Antoine Boyer at Mupa Budapest, and his continued work blending classical technique with jazz freedom have established him as one of Hungary's most distinctive young musicians.
