Loyal Lobos

Silva's introduction to the world of music occurred in kindergarten when her teacher appointed her as the soloist in the choir for various occasions, including funerals and school graduations. This early exposure ignited her passion, leading her to pick up the guitar. Music became Silva's primary outlet for processing emotions and expressing herself. At the age of 18, she made the significant move to Los Angeles, where the persona of Loyal Lobos began to take shape.

Collaborating with musician Evan Voytas, Silva started recording under the guidance of producer and songwriter Teddy Geiger. Teddy Geiger, known for their work with artists like Lizzo, Shawn Mendes, and Leon Bridges, served as the executive producer for Silva's debut album, "Everlasting," a project that unfolded over three years.

In May 2022, Loyal Lobos signed with Saban Music, marking a notable milestone in her career. Rolling Stone recognized her as one of the "10 Latin Acts Set To Make It Big In 2023," adding to the growing acclaim around her artistry.

In a candid interview, Silva shared her thoughts on releasing music during a global pandemic and navigating the challenges of the music industry. Her journey included overcoming immigration obstacles, working hourly jobs to sustain herself, and facing difficulties with her visa. Despite these hurdles, Silva's dedication to her craft and her commitment to continuous artistic creation shone through.

"Everlasting," consisting of 10 tracks, showcases Silva's labor of love. Collaborating closely with Evan Voytas and with Teddy Geiger providing a fresh perspective as the executive producer, the album blends folk-pop with three tracks sung entirely in Spanish, demonstrating Silva's artistic versatility.

Silva's music is characterized by its effortless, fluid, and boundless quality, inviting listeners into her world of daydreams and introspection. Beyond her Colombian roots, Loyal Lobos represents a deliberate effort to transcend categorization and create a unique space in the music industry.

As she navigates the music scene, Andrea Silva, born in 1994, embodies perseverance, authenticity, and a commitment to continuous artistic creation. Her story reflects resilience, creativity, and a determination to carve out her own path in the diverse and ever-evolving landscape of the music industry.
