In the heart of Cercivento, where echoes of the Carnic Alps resonate, Silverio's musical journey began. His grandparents and parents gifted him the rich timbres, melodies, and nuances of the Carnic language—a minority language in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Drawn to the distinct sound and profound meanings, Silverio embarked on a mission to weave these linguistic treasures into his music.

Silverio's music transcends conventional boundaries, fusing classic and contemporary, folk and experimental. His artistry spans a spectrum that includes acoustic, electroacoustic, and electronic elements. This unique blend results from a relentless pursuit that began in his youth—a quest to translate the essence of places, mountains, rivers, and ancient rites into a musical tapestry.

The culmination of Silverio's artistic exploration is the 2023 album, 'Hrudja'. Collaborating with eclectic producer Manuel Volpe (Rhabdomantic Orchestra) and the talented musician Nicholas Remondino, Silverio presents a work of contrasts and silences that defy the boundaries of musical genres.

'Hrudja', the Langobard ancestor of the Friulian word 'Grusa' (indicating the crust of a wound), becomes a metaphor for rebirth, healing, and the preservation of disappearing memories. The album's tracks unfold like chapters, narrated by Silverio's voice—a delicate balance of Carnic and English—accompanied by a rich ensemble of instruments. The soundscape features guitars, bass, cello, organ, guzla, drums, percussions, synthesizers, and more, creating an immersive journey through Carnia's cultural and linguistic legacy.

The personnel on the album, including Nicholas Remondino on drums and synthesizers, Manuel Volpe on bass and keyboards, Luca Sguera on piano, and Michele Anelli on double bass, contribute to the symphony of 'Hrudja.' Their collaboration, arranged by Manuel Volpe, Silverio, and Remondino, adds layers of complexity and richness to the sonic narrative.

Recorded between April and November 2022 at Rubedo Recordings in Turin and Cotonificio Basement, the album is a testament to Silverio's commitment to preserving his heritage through music. The mesmerizing piano recordings by Giordano Sala, combined with the masterful mixing and mastering by Manuel Volpe, ensure that 'HRUDJA' is not merely an album but an auditory exploration of Carnia's soul.
