Morijah

Morijah was born on August 8, 1999, to a Christian pastor father and a mother who served as a worship singer in Adjamé, Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. She is the fourth of seven siblings. At the age of 13, in the year 2012, Morijah embraced Christianity. Two years later, at the age of 15, she underwent baptism. She joined the music group of her church, where she learned alongside her mother.

Morijah attended the Methodist Primary School in Williamsville, Adjamé, from elementary to middle school, distinguishing herself as a Major during those years. She continued her education at the Lycée Moderne de Cocody-Angré in Abidjan, participating in various competitions. After successfully completing her baccalaureate, she enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the Center for Research and Action for Peace (CERAP-UJ) for a three-year undergraduate program. Subsequently, she pursued a master's degree in private law.

Morijah embarked on her music career in October 2020, marked by her signing with the music label Djeys Records. Initially, she posted cover videos, including renditions of well-known Christian songs such as a cover of 'Saint-Esprit' by Congolese singer Dena Mwana.

In January 2021, she released her debut single titled 'Parle-moi.' In June of the same year, she followed up with her second single, 'Allô Allô.'

On December 4, 2021, Morijah released her first musical project titled 'Reconnaissance.' This EP, consisting of 5 songs, featured collaborations with rappers KS Bloom and David Okit.

She has performed concerts in various countries, including Canada, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Côte d'Ivoire.
