Nu Zau, real name Stefan Gabriel, is a Romanian DJ and producer known for a dark, percussive, and funky minimal house and techno sound, inspired by artists including Rhadoo and Ricardo Villalobos. In 2013 he co-founded the vinyl-only label UVAR with fellow Romanian producer Sepp, and has released on labels including Fear of Flying and Archipel, playing clubs and festivals worldwide including Output in New York, Sanseis in Ibiza, and Origami in Tokyo.
