Ryan Elliott

Ryan Elliott was born and raised in Carleton, Michigan, a small town southwest of Detroit. Growing up in a musically diverse household, he was exposed to a variety of genres, including country, blues, and hip-hop. This eclectic musical environment laid the foundation for his future career in electronic music.

During his teenage years, Elliott developed a keen interest in hip-hop and breakdancing. A pivotal moment came when he discovered Kraftwerk's 'Tour de France' on the 'Breakin'' movie soundtrack, sparking his fascination with electronic sounds. This early exposure to electronic music would later influence his DJing and production style.

Elliott's DJ career began in the early 2000s when he started performing at local venues in Detroit. His big break came with a weekly residency at Goodnight Gracie's in Ann Arbor, where he honed his skills alongside fellow DJ Matthew Dear. This residency became a crucial platform for Elliott, allowing him to develop his unique style and gain recognition in the local scene.

In 2009, Elliott made the significant decision to relocate to Berlin, a move that expanded his musical horizons and opened up new opportunities. He quickly became a resident DJ at Berghain and Panorama Bar, two of the city's most prestigious clubs. His sets are renowned for their energy and seamless integration of techno and house, reflecting both his Detroit roots and Berlin influences.

Beyond DJing, Elliott has made notable contributions as a producer and remixer. He has released music on esteemed labels such as Ostgut Ton and Spectral Sound, showcasing his ability to create tracks that are both innovative and dancefloor-friendly. In 2019, he launched his own label, Faith Beat, providing a platform for his productions and those of like-minded artists.

As a resident at Berghain and Panorama Bar, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the sound and culture of these iconic venues.
