Born and raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Sakro developed a passion for music at an early age. Immersed in the rich cultural tapestry of his hometown, he was exposed to various musical genres, including jazz, soul, and hip-hop. These early influences played a pivotal role in shaping his unique sound, blending traditional Mexican rhythms with contemporary electronic beats.

Sakro's professional journey began in 2012 when he started producing and releasing tracks that quickly garnered attention in the house music community. His ability to seamlessly blend garage house with minimal elements set him apart from his peers. Over the years, he has released music on prestigious labels such as Raum…Musik, Half Baked, Visionquest, and Karlovak. His compositions have been played by renowned DJs like Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, and Richie Hawtin, further cementing his status in the industry.

In 2017, his 'No Time To Explain' EP on Raum…Musik was hailed as one of the best releases of the year by Resident Advisor and DJ Mag. This recognition propelled him to perform at esteemed venues like Club der Visionäre and Tresor in Berlin, as well as festivals such as Sunwaves in Romania. In 2023, Sakro released his first album, 'Psychophonies,' an eight-track project that showcases his evolution as an artist, blending dark textures with an aesthetic mix of house and techno.

Sakro's music is deeply influenced by the sounds of Detroit and Chicago, particularly jazz, soul, and hip-hop. These genres have shaped his approach to production, allowing him to create tracks that are both innovative and deeply rooted in musical tradition.
