CLASH first encountered Sarah Crean when she supported Irish alt-songwriter Kynsy at Dublin’s The Workman’s Club 12th Birthday event. The project's creation involved intensive sessions in Los Angeles, where Sarah immersed herself in the aesthetic she envisioned for her music videos. Moving to Berlin in 2021 was particularly difficult due to a misdiagnosis that exacerbated her condition, forcing her to return home after just a few months. Despite these setbacks, Sarah's determination and ability to compartmentalize her pain have allowed her to continue creating music that speaks to her reality.

Sarah is currently working on her next project, which promises to be her most personal and introspective work yet. Inspired by her experiences over the past eight months, including moving, dealing with her illness, and new relationships, Sarah is focused on capturing the essence of life as a young woman in her twenties. While her music remains dark and introspective, it is also a testament to her growth and resilience.
