Saxsquatch, born Dean Mitchell in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a multi-instrumentalist who began posting saxophone-cover videos to YouTube in 2019 while performing in a Bigfoot costume. His viral rendition of Daft Punk's 'One More Time' and a cover of 'You Don't Know Me' featured on 'Tosh.0' propelled his videos to millions of daily views by 2020; he had previously played saxophone in The Marcus King Band.

He has collaborated with Hall & Oates' John Oates on an electronic cover of 'Maneater,' and with Half an Orange on 'Moondance,' which was featured in the video game Rocket League. He appeared on 'That's My Jam' with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, sold out all 27 dates of his 2025 'Footprints' tour across the US, and has organized benefit concerts supporting local food assistance programs.
