Seth Troxler

Seth Troxler was born on September 29, 1985, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Raised in suburban Detroit, he was introduced to music by his stepfather, a college radio DJ. This early exposure ignited his passion for electronic music, leading him to attend underground raves in Detroit during the 1990s. At 16, he began working at the renowned record store 'Melodies & Memories,' where he deepened his knowledge of house and techno music.

Troxler's DJ career took off in the mid-2000s after moving to Berlin. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style, blending influences from Detroit and Berlin's electronic scenes. In 2011, he co-founded the Visionquest label, releasing music that pushed the boundaries of house and techno. In 2012, Resident Advisor named him the No. 1 DJ in the world, a testament to his impact on the global dance music scene. He also co-owns the London-based restaurant Smokey Tails, showcasing his passion for culinary arts alongside music.
