Sophie Zucker

Sophie grew up in New York and attended Hunter College High School. She later graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in Religion and Creative Writing.

Sophie's career in comedy and acting has been marked by her original work and performances at various venues such as Joe's Pub, The Duplex, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, Second City, UCB, Vital Joint, and Under the Gun. She hosts the monthly variety show 'Ladies Who Ranch' at Brooklyn Comedy Collective, which has been described as 'bananas'.

Sophie has also made her mark in the television and film industry. She wrote and starred as Abby on Apple TV's 'Dickinson'. Other notable TV/Film credits include 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,' the Mindy Kaling feature 'Late Night,' and Comedy Central's 'The Other Two'. She will also be seen in the upcoming New Line/Picturestart movie 'Sweethearts,' directed by Jordan Weiss.

Sophie's talents extend beyond acting and comedy. She trained as a classical pianist for 17 years, which has influenced her comedic style and performances. She has also been workshopping her one-woman musical about incest, 'Sophie Sucks Face,' which combines her musical and comedy talents.

Sophie's unique comedic style and performances have drawn comparisons to great Jewish American comics like Barbra Streisand, Elaine May, and Gilda Radner. She was also featured on Vulture's list of “Comedians You Should and Will Know” in 2023.

On January 16, 2024, Sophie Zucker married Jesse Einhorn in a modest but beautiful wedding.
