YoSoyMatt, real name Roberto Matthews, is a Mexican DJ, producer, and singer from Papantla, Veracruz, whose music blends fully digital electronic sounds with the organic, tropical feeling of his Jarocho upbringing. A wheelchair user due to muscular dystrophy, he became one of the first wheelchair-using DJs to perform at Mexico's Electric Daisy Carnival in 2022, building a following around the message that 'you don't need legs to dance.' His catalogue includes the albums Cosmos Tropicale (2018) and Atlas (2019), and his collaboration with Polocorp, 'La Nina del Volcan,' has surpassed 44 million streams.
